My advice for exploring quotations and their meanings

Whenever I see a quote expressed from somebody, I always ask myself: "What does it mean?" Then I proceed to look up the meaning behind it.

After I've looked up the meaning of the quote, I then ask myself: "Why does the quote mean that?" Which helps me to think up some answers in relation to that question.

And the final part of the chemistry is... I simply write down whatever my thoughts say in terms of answering those questions.

Have a go yourself, as I'm sure you'll be just as curious as I am!
